Harper and Conservatives shill for blood money!

Conservative party officials are actively soliciting blood money from supporters for Harper's approval of the murdering of innocents, and peace-keepers including Canadian citizens in Lebanon.

Shilling on the backs of dead Lebanese civilians and UN peace-keepers. Wonderful!

This is maybe what we have to come to expected from this reform/conservative party. I suspect they have copied tactics from their much admired US pals in the Republican Party, at least from the ones not currently under indictment.

The letter refers to a principled stand on the middle-east. This must mean Harper's whole hearted support for the mess into which the current amateur Israeli administration has thrown the middle-east.

Oh yes Harper's "measured and justified" support for Israel's murdering of innocents including Canadians and that country's mass destruction of another country's property seems to be Canadian policy according the the Conservatives.

Some principle, some stand.

Keep up the good work Harper we'd never actually like to see you and your gang of buckaroo's actually recognizing that you live in a diverse country. I guess you'd like to change that maybe. Maybe make the country more to your tight-ass liking, eh?

Principled be damned, what a joke.

It seems that it is news for the Conservative Party and Harper that Canada is happily made up of all sorts of different ethnic groups and cultures and we as a nation have generally not cheered the killing of any of these groups by each other in their original homelands.

This means we haven't approved of Israeli, Palestinian, Lebanese, Syrian, etc. etc. etc.. deaths in disputes between any or all of the before mentioned peoples. Why? Because we are a mix of all of them you sorry dumb schmucks (apologies to Yiddish speakers).

The Harper attempt to save his political face and suck-up to threatened Canadians over his infamous "measured and justified" comment by picking up fleeing citizens in Cyprus was fully recognized by most Canadians as the opportunistic scam it was.

But he and his buckaroo gang have even surpassed this cynical gesture by this mooching game.

Conservative Party blood money that's tax deductible for creepy supporters, wonderful.

Canadian Forces admit its hiding amongst civilian population

The Canadian Forces finally admitted today that it has been hiding amongst the civilian population of Ottawa for years.

'The federal government plans to build a security fence around the Department of National Defence in downtown Ottawa."

The Harperinator strikes

Our whiz bang PM, Steve Harper, pronounces the Israeli's are off the hook again after killing another Canadian.

In responding to the head of the UN's statement that the Israeli defined accident looked deliberate Great Leader said:

“I certainly doubt that to be the case given that the government of Israel has been co-operating with us in our evacuation efforts and our attempts to move Canadian citizens out of Lebanon and also trying to keep our own troops that are on the ground involved in the evacuation out of harm's way."

Now I thought Steve had gone to school, maybe even university, eh.

Isn't his statement a simple logic error:

1. The Israeli's are co-operating with us to remove our citizens.

2. Therefore they would not deliberately kill UN observers. One of whom just happens to be a Canadian.

I think this is a good example of the logical fallacy know as Post Hoc. Or in other words: Confusing Coincidental Relationships With Causes.

Thanks Steve, but I think you need to start looking at some of those characters hiding in Prime Minister's Office who are writing you these really dumb dumb lines.

Myself, after 21 attempts at trying to hit the bunker, it sounds at little deliberate to me. Wonder why the stellar MSM (main stream media) didn't ask the "Calgary boy wonder" to explain a little more, eh.

I guess they might have just been happy to get the PM to speak to them.

I suspect it is a little closer to what Patrick Lang said on his site early this morning:

"Why would the IDF attack a UN observer post? Who, in their right mind would think such a thing," says Gellerman, Israel's UN ambassador." An Irish Army captain assigned to UNDOF or UNIFIL answered the question succinctly in a television interview this morning. "We are the Secretary General's eyes and ears," he said.

I'm not holding my breath for the outcome of any investigation and I really do wonder sometimes how stupid politicians think we actually are.

Ya the Israeli's are in the middle of a small war which they look to be losing on some grounds and they are really going to spend any time on an investigation of the killing of peace-keepers.

And if, oh my god, an investigation found that the UN was deliberately targeted by them. What would happen, eh?

Some poor bloody bombardier would be hung out.

Oh Boy! A reason.

It has been driving me a bit nuts trying to figure out why Israel, an aggressive but normally sensible country in its approach to war, has been doing what it is doing in Lebanon.

I mean massive air strikes that kill mainly civilians and seems like mainly civilian children (there are no accusations that there are child soldiers/terrorists in Lebanon, yet) is one part of the receipt for a long term PR/external disaster.

Even Alan Dershowitz has weighted in to redefine civilians to justify what, after this mess is over, lots and lots will consider new Israeli "war crimes".

So here is a link to Patrick Lang's site if you don't already have it in your bookmarks.

He also has been trying to figure out what the Israeli's must be thinking and he is certainly better qualified than me to give some value-added on this matter.

Some of the mess is starting to come together.

The present nonsense could be simply a calamity of errors supported by inappropriate public service appointments - the military is part of the public service - and bad timing by hezbullah .

I'm afraid this would fit into my broad view of how bureaucracies work both within nation states and organizations in general.

Maybe it's the summer heat!

The piece by Alan Dershowitz in yesterday's LA Times really really stretched the envelop of some Zionist's mad logic, I think.

It could also be that the rarified air in the Harvard yard has finally completely gotten to him.

Then again it is likely just a preemptive strike to fend off any criticism of the Israel newest summertime adventure.

Over at the Whiskey Bar Billmon did a parody of the Dershowitz opinion piece assuming that Dershowitz - good lawyer that he is - was defending or justifying another mad summertime of adventure a few years back.

More Israeli nonsense.

So now what, the Israeli government admits, after killing 300 or so innocents, that it can't defeat the Hezbollahians and it only wants more territory.

I think the territory includes a river they have wanted for years and years.

Who'd have thought this was just all about destroying the competition, wrecking a good example of a middle-east multi-religious society and stealing water.

Crikey, it's a an old fashion cowboy show.

No wonder the all-hat-no-cows buckaroos Bush and Harper support it.

The irrational moves of the current Israeli government had been baffling me since they start this latest nonsense.

Now all is revealed.

But wait doesn't this just give the Hezbollahians a more familiar and efficient ground for killing Israeli troops?

Hasn't Israel been down this road before?

Unfortunately I think everything may be imploding for the Israelis. Their competence certainly seems to be being tested right now and they seem to be failing.

The current mess is likely to have lots and lots of those events the neo-cons just love "unintended consequences".

Good show PM Harper

Finally a Prime Minister that supports the killing of his country's own citizens.

Thanks Steve just what we need for another of our hot summers. Oh how is that new environmental policy coming along any way?

Just in case you might have forgotten the briefing book from the American and rapture handlers I've sent along a link from John Bolton assuring the world that Canadians killed by the Jewish state aren't the same as those killed by the homeland's enemies.

Hope you can fit these lines into one of your next statements when you think is useful to talk to the media again.
