Philip Zimbardo, maybe now he isn't lecturing at Stanford any longer and has more time on his hands, has put up a new web site which is worth a visit. The focus of the site is ostensibly his new book:
"The Lucifer Effect: Understanding How Good People Turn Evil"
I'm definitely sure I'd not have use the name Lucifer or the word "evil", to describe human behaviour, in the title. But then, again, that would be me.
Most people of a particular age, no matter what their views maybe now on religious myths, would, I suspect, have a general idea about the contents of the book by what the name Lucifer signifies.
And for those that don't have any hint of good old Lucifer's shenanigans and the Fall, the subtitle should provide a solid clue, ending in that word, maybe unfortunately, loaded with religiosity.
